Events at Penn Museum
As Facility Rentals Coordinator at Penn Museum, Angela sold the Museum's many galleries and spaces for private, corporate, non-profit, and University events. Her duties included the promotion, sales, booking, coordination, and logistics management of rental events. During her time at the Museum, Angela managed a a wide variety of events including weddings, graduations, garden receptions, employee retreats, meetings, and live performances.

​Holy Ghost Preparatory School
As Events Manager at Holy Ghost Prep, Angela managed all aspects of Development Office events including the school's two major fundraisers, the Spring Auction and the Golf Classic. Angela also produced and managed the annual Reunion and President's Dinner. Her broad responsibilities included developing event promotion strategies, creating planning timelines, and collaborating with colleagues, vendors, donors, and alumni to ensure successful events. The changes that Angela made while producing Ghost's Spring 2019 events brought increased attendance, reduced expenses, and increased fundraising revenue.

Holy Ghost Prep Event Highlight:
2019 Spring Auction

The annual Spring Auction is HGP's biggest fundraiser of the year. In 2019 Angela was able to make significant changes to the event that resulted in reduced expenses & more funds raised for the school.

  • Increased silent auction revenue by 9% (when compared to 2018)
  • Silent auction revenue was the highest overall since the event started in 2016
  • Implemented an aggressive gift procurement & event marketing campaign that resulted in a 31% increase of donated silent auction items (when compared to 2018), and the most since the start of the event in 2016
  • Decreased overall event expenses by 13% (when compared to 2018) – expenses were the lowest overall since the start of the event in 2016
  • Accurately forecasted event attendance, resulting in the lowest catering costs in the history of the event (2016 – 2019)
  • Final overall event revenue was increased by 17% (when compared to previous year)

Event Décor & Coordination

Angela started Pumpkin Events & Décor in 2011. Angela handles all aspects of the business including branding, marketing, social media, online store front on Etsy.com, customer service, and production. Her designs have been present at weddings & events all over the world (England, Cyprus, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and most of the United States). Angela also offers full event coordination and set-up for local events.

Pumpkin Events & Décor Highlight:
​Mad Men Birthday Party

Angela did full coordination for a "Mad Men" themed birthday party shown here. The food was from Fisher's Tudor House, with bartending provided by Swig Events. Tents & Events provided the tables and tent. Angela provided all of the décor, linens, coordination, & florals. The cake was from Bredenbeck's Bakery.

While working at Fisher's Tudor House (now Fishers Bensalem), Angela marketed, sold, planned, and managed over 200 on-premise events of different varieties.

Fisher's Tudor House Project Highlight:
Ballroom Uplighting Project

Angela marketed and helped to implement Fisher's uplighting project. In an effort to make the ballrooms appear more like a "blank canvas" to guests, free uplighting was introduced into Fisher's wedding package. The addition of free uplighting increased wedding sales by more than 50%.
